Kumar Urban Development Pvt. Ltd. (Kumar Builders KUL) is a real estate development and construction company focusing on residential and commercial development projects in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Panchgani.

Currently Mr. Lalitkumar Jain is the chairman and managing director of Kumar Urban Development Limited. He is also the national president of CREDAI. KUL’s expertise lies in the area of architecture, design, project planning & implementation, legal matters, procurement and marketing. KUL holds the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certificates for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety management system standards with the scope of Design, Development, Construction and Marketing of Residential and Commercial Complexes.

KUL was incorporated on May 25, 1993 by Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain as Kumar Housing and Land Development Limited. The Company is an offshoot of the erstwhile Kumar Group, promoted by Mr. K.H. Oswal (father of Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain) in 1966 for carrying out real estate and construction business. The company subsequently changed its name to Kumar Urban Development Limited in February, 2008 by following necessary corporate actions.

KUL started their operations in Pune and gradually expanded to cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Panchgani. They have completed 2.94 million sq. ft. of developable area since 2006 including 11 residential which include one-redevelopment project and 7 commercial projects. They have announced 18 new redevelopment projects in Mumbai.
