KUL Ecoloch

Though the times for the real estate sector are a little dull, there are a couple projects whose success one can anticipate. Kumar Urban Development Ltd. (KUL or Kumar Builders) has as of late reported the launch of the second phase of its integrated eco-friendly township township KUL Ecoloch. The project is bound to be effective, especially after the successful accomplishment of its first stage.

KUL Ecoloch is situated at Mahalunge, behind Balewadi Stadium, Pune. Phase II, spread over 100 acre, consists of a total saleable area of around 9,90,000 sq ft, offering 1 BHKs of 550 sq ft each and 2 BHKs of around 1,020 sq ft each. The price of 1 BHK units starts from Rs 29 lakh, while for 2BHK units the price is around Rs 50 lakh, the company said in a statement.

Kruti Jain, director, Kumar Urban Development said that the project is located on the northern bank of Hinjewadi Mula Mutha river in Mahalunge, with easy connectivity to Baner. One of the added exclusive features of the township is that it has a private connectivity for KUL Ecoloch Township in Mahalunge, with KUL SEZ in Hinjewadi. It is also well connected to areas like Baner, Aundh, Pune University and Chandni Chowk. Navi Mumbai is a two-hour drive from the site. The infrastructure of the location is well developed and is close to entertainment and hospitality areas.

Ms. Jain added that the Phase I of the project has witnessed an overwhelming response and the company is upgrading the amenities and services in phase II.Each residential cluster within the township has its own set of facilities like small pool, community hall and gardens at the entrance of lobbies. The project also has a sports club and a fitness centre with a football arena, a basket ball court, an Olympic-size swimming pool, running track and gymnasium, the company said in a statement.

Ms. Jain said that similar to Clark Quay in Singapore, KUL is developing a river-side marina and promenade. KUL Ecoloch’s phase II will be a first-of-its-kind township to have this feature. It will also be supported by a golf club, a boat club and other water sports without compromising the river. KUL Ecoloch will also have a club and lawns by the river. The club will include indoor games like cards, billiards and Foosball, along with steam and sauna baths.

KUL operates in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Panchgani and Nagpur; and has so far developed 70 million sq ft. The company’s projects span across affordable, mid-segment and luxury homes to commercial and retail complexes, apart from IT complexes and SEZs.
